The Willows at Red Oak Recovery® is excited to announce that their clinically dynamic, trauma intensive substance abuse and mental health treatment program for young adult women, ages 18-35, is celebrating their four-year anniversary this month.
Their intimate, gender-specific program is located on an expansive 34-acre horse farm just outside of Asheville, NC, where clients work closely with Master’s level, dually licensed (clinical addictions and mental health) clinicians and receive a minimum of 30 hours of clinical care per week. Being a small program provides The Willows’ clients with the safety and space to truly work on themselves regarding sensitive topics, such as traumatic events that they may have experienced throughout their lives.
While providing state-of-the art, evidence-based clinical care, The Willows also includes experiential and adventure therapy as a forum to gain a sense of self-awareness, increase self-confidence, enhance communication and team building skills, and learn to problem solve in the moment. The program also includes a robust family program with a separate family therapist specifically designated to work with the loved ones of clients to strengthen relationships and work on new ways of showing up within the family system. The Willows is designed and stemmed in the belief that an inclusive and holistic approach to wellness and recovery will help women to move forward in their lives and achieve sustainable recovery.
“The Willows, one of the only programs of its kind in the country, continues to consistently deliver clinically sophisticated work while maintaining a compassionate, nurturing and loving environment for women as they change their narrative and life trajectory,” says Jack Kline, MS, LCMHCS, LCAS, CCS, CTT-2, MAC, Founder and President.
